Welcome to 8PM ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our mobile application and services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.
8PM has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for objectionable content and abusive behavior. This includes but is not limited to:
- Harassment, bullying, or threatening behavior
- Hate speech, discrimination, or offensive content
- Sexual exploitation or inappropriate sexual content
- Spam, scams, or fraudulent activity
- Impersonation or fake profiles
- Any illegal activity
Violations will result in immediate account termination and permanent ban. We act on all reports within 24 hours. Users who violate these terms will be removed from the platform and reported to relevant authorities where appropriate.
2. Eligibility
To use 8PM, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be legally able to enter into a binding contract
- Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
- Not have been previously banned from our Service
- Not be a registered sex offender
3. Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain the security of your password
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
4. User Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Post false, misleading, or deceptive information
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Post content that is illegal, obscene, or violates others' rights
- Use the Service for commercial purposes without permission
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use automated systems or bots
- Impersonate any person or entity

8PM offers premium subscription services. By purchasing a subscription:
- You authorize us to charge your payment method
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
- Refunds are subject to our refund policy and applicable laws
- Prices may change with notice

8. Safety
While we implement safety measures, we cannot guarantee the behavior of users. Please review our Safety Standards and exercise caution when interacting with others.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL FIND A MATCH OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 8PM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
